Biden Withdrawal Fails: Taliban Seizes US Weapons Like Drones, Tanks, Artillery

1019

The Biden administration’s execution of withdrawing U.S. troops from Afghanistan is turning out to be a complete failure. According to a report by Newsweek, Taliban militants have taken over nine provinces and it’s expected that Kabul, the Capital of Afghanistan, will fall within the next 90 days.

The Afghan Armed Forces have lost battle after battle and now are having a large amount of their American supply captured by the Taliban. It’s estimated that the United States has spent billions of dollars on weapons such as guns, ammunition, humvees, tanks, drones, artillery, and other militaristic weapons.

However, due to the Biden administration’s poor job of executing a withdrawal of American troops, the Taliban in return has gone on a complete terror strike. They are seizing millions of dollars of U.S. weapons and have been posting videos of their seizures.

Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo Speaks Out

Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has called Biden’s plan to withdraw American troops from Afghanistan a complete and utter failure. Pompeo declared that when the Trump administration began to start withdrawing troops from Afghanistan, the Taliban didn’t make any moves due to the fact both Trump and Pompeo warned the Taliban of severe consequences if they acted in violence.

Pompeo told the top Taliban negotiator Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradafar told if any American lives are threatened, then the United States would use all of their power to retaliate against the Taliban.

The former secretary of state went on to warn the Biden administration that a Taliban takeover of Afghanistan could lead to ISIS and Al Queda also taking over Afghanistan too.

Biden Plans to Send 3,000 More Troops to Afghanistan

The U.S. Department of State announced that 3,000 troops will be sent to Afghanistan to aid U.S. Embassy staff to evacuate safely from the Capital of Kabul. The move by the Biden administration goes to show that they do not have confidence in the Afghan Armed Forces and the Afgan National Army which has been backed by billions of U.S. dollars.

Department of Defense spokesperson John Kirby declared the 3,000 troops being deployed will consist of two Marine Infantry batallion and one Army Battalion. He went on to say that this won’t be a full evacuation of all U.S. military personnel.

Biden was supposed to withdraw troops but due to his administration’s complete incompetence to withdraw them in a way that would allow the Taliban to run rampant, they have to send back 3,000 troops.

As of right now, close to 1,000 civilians have died by attacks that involved the Taliban; meanwhile, nine of the 34 provinces have already been taken over by the Taliban.

It appears the billions of dollars and the 20 years of blood being shed by U.S. troops will all be in vain, due to the Biden administration’s ignorance.
