Elvis Affair Shocker — Celebrity Spills JUICY Details…

Hollywood actress Cybill Shepherd recently shared provocative details about her 1970s romance with Elvis Presley, describing the King of Rock and Roll as being “a little bit too close to God or somebody” during an intimate Los Angeles performance.

Shepherd Opens Up About Elvis Romance at Jazz Club

Cybill Shepherd made these revelations during “An Evening with Cybill Shepherd: Music, Conversation & Stories” at the Catalina Jazz Club in Los Angeles. The 75-year-old actress was preparing to perform her song “Graceland (Revisited)” when she discussed the person who inspired it: Elvis Presley, who died in August 1977 at age 42. Shepherd performed an impression of Presley and called him “a great guy” before concluding her performance by noting, “Elvis was really cool though.”

Behind-the-Camera Hollywood Affairs Revealed

During the two-hour show, Shepherd also disclosed details about other Tinseltown romances, including her affair with Don Johnson during the 1985 production of “The Long Hot Summer.”

She revealed that while she and Johnson, now 75, didn’t share scenes together in the TV miniseries, they had a romantic fling at the height of his Miami Vice fame. “Don Johnson and I did not do scenes together, but we did have a lot of fun,” Shepherd said, adding with characteristic frankness, “No, we didn’t do scenes in front of the camera, we messed around behind the camera.”

Classic Hollywood Career and Recent Projects

Shepherd became a Hollywood icon through her roles in cinematic classics, including “The Last Picture Show” and “Taxi Driver.” She played Eula Varner in “The Long Hot Summer” remake, though she initially wanted the Joanne Woodward role from the original 1958 film. According to Shepherd, casting directors told her she was “too pretty for the Joanne Woodward part.”

Her most notable television role came as Maddie Hayes opposite Bruce Willis in the popular ABC series “Moonlighting” from 1985-1989. Most recently, she appeared as Nancy Crampton-Brophy in the 2023 TV movie “How to Murder Your Husband.”
